A to Z Bookish Survey is a fun survey hosted by Perpetual Page Turner . I discover this survey first at Ikao's blog, Sky Duck Books , Btw, Perpetual Page Turner is a fun book blog, and even I'm not read YA frequently, I enjoy Jamie's insight to anything that book related :). So, without further ado, this is my answer to A to Z Bookish Survey :
note : since Perpetual Page Turner is a blog that written in English, I'm also using English. Any grammar and structure mistake are my own, lol! Don't be shy to correct me if you detect any (by email or mention me at Twitter (@r3n87) :) )
Author you’ve read the most books from:
J.D.Robb. I had read all of her In Death series book (36 books and counting. No sign of "The End" yet). Just left 3 books by her that I'm not read yet, Celebrity in Death (#34), Delusion in Death (#35) and Calculated in Death (#36)
Best Sequel Ever:
Best Sequel Ever:
I don't know! I have too many best books sequel ever to write!
Currently Reading:
Currently Reading:
I'm not read anything yet. I plan to pick Magic Bleeds by Ilona Andrews or any books that I'd abandoned long enough on my book shelves. Or maybe read one of books from NetGalley. Choices, choices :)
Drink of Choice While Reading:
Drink of Choice While Reading:
Water. Actually I'm not drink while reading for I'm afraid I will spill it and my book will be ruined.
E-reader of Physical Books?:
Both, but since I don't have E-reader (plan to have one!), physical books for now
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:
High school? Can I said college? LOL. Alex Fuentes from Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles will be my choice. Since he is the first YA hero that I adore
Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:
Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:
His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik. I love Dragon, but I hesitate to start this, since I don't know if HMD will be better than Eragon. It's way way better! (read my review of His Majesty's Dragon )
Hidden Gem Book:
The Golem and The Jinni by Helene Wrecker. A debut book that make me hooked until the end. It's adult book, but can be read by YA auditions too. Combine myth and history, The Golem and The Jinni simply one of my best books this year!
Important Moment in your Reading Life:
Many people said, it's when they join Goodreads. Me? It's when I join a reader forum called "Lautan Indonesia". There, I find so many friends that love books like me. It's so amazing! Even now we kinda lost contact, some also become stranger to me, I'll still thank them.
The second important moment is when my friend lent me "White Lies" by Linda Howard. Once, I avoid romance book, especially Harlequin like a plague. But, after reading White Lies, I think that romance books are great! And since that, I read romance like a monster :)
The third-and this is also important for me-is when I join Blogger Buku Indonesia (BBI), a book blogger community from Indonesia. Full of enthusiastic reader and blogger, and also make me to not give up. It's a long story, but BBI kinda saved my virtual life.
Just Finished:
I'm just finished Kiss of the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon. The fifth book of Dark Hunter series. Just okay for me, love the myth and the action. Not so much for the romance department.
Kind of Books You Won't Read:
I'm an omnireader. Which mean, I'm open for all kind of books. But, omnivore has its limit, me too have some genres that I won't bother to read. Such as motivation books, book that written from someone tweets (kinda annoying), books by author that behaving badly over internet (yes, I'm like that. Sue me :\) and text books (of course, it's boring!)
Longest Book You’ve Read:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (the Indonesian version has 1008 pages. To quote one of my blogger friend, a sexy book)
Major book hangover because of:
On Monday, I post Random Thought about Book Hangover (you can read here, but in Indonesian). My latest book hangover is Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews. Simply, because it's soo awesome! (read my review of Magic Strikes)
Number of Bookcases You Own:
I have 3 bookcases. One a very tall bookcases, one just on average height and one small bookcase. I plan to buy one bookcase again next month
One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:
I believe, it's Angel's Blood by Nalini Singh. I really love the last part, so beautifully written
Preferred Place To Read:
My bed, since no one (aka my hubby) can disturb me. In the family room too.
Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:
Reading Regret:
I'm regret to not read Lords of The Ring. I love the movie, I watched it for more than 10 times, all of it, the extended version. But the book is so slow. I'm still struggling while reading Fellowship of the Ring,
Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):
I have so many! For now it's Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon, Fever series by Karen Marie Moning, Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews. The list is go on and on. I admit I kinda have series OCD, lol!
Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:
Since I'm easily bored, my favorite books are vary from time to time. But right now the three all favorite books are :
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K.Rowling
Mr Perfect by Linda Howard
Naked in Death by J.D.Robb
Unapologetic Fangirl For:
ROARKE, ROARKE and ROARKE! Can't get enough of him, the epithome of the sexiest man alive (in romancelandia). Ehm, Roarke is the hero from In Death series by J.D.Robb
Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:
Archangel's Legion by Nalini Singh and the Indonesian version of Inferno by Dan Brown. I love Mr Brown's writing and his insight to Europe culture and arts
Worst Bookish Habit:

“I was dead until you found me, though I breathed. I was sightless, though I could see. And then you came...and I was awakened.”

This is the first romance quote I loved! It's sum all Zsadist 's feeling after he discover love for the first time.Reading Regret:

X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:
From my 1st bookcase : Kiss of Snow by Nalini Singh
From my 2nd bookcase : Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon
From my 3rd bookcase : since it's so small, no 27th book.

E-reader or Physical Book?
I’m definitely a physical book girl but
love my Kindle for the gym, review copies and for vacation so I can have
lots of options with me.
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:
Cricket from Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins.
I definitely went for the nice, kind-of-into-dorky-things boys in high
school. Also I had a thing with MY boy next door that never blossomed.
Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:
Hidden Gem Book:
Important Moment in your Reading Life:
Discovering Goodreads. Without Goodreads I would have never started reading again. I was a huge reader but then fell off the map in high school/some of college. Goodreads led me to book blogs and here we are!
Just Finished:
Not A Drop To Drink by Mindy McGinnis
Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:
I’m trying to get better about shutting myself off to some genres (you can help me!)
without trying them but I’m certain I won’t ever read any erotica. It’s
just not my thing. I don’t mind smutty but not super explicit.
Longest Book You’ve Read:
I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb (897 pages)
** easy way to find this out. Go to your Goodreads “read” list, don’t
scroll down but where you are on the screen there will be this little
tab on the bottom that lets you choose how you want to scroll or how
many books you want display. There is also a sort option with a drop
down and you can sort by page.Major book hangover because of:
Number of Bookcases You Own:
4. Two are really tall and then the other
two are smaller. I’m out of room so I have piles here PLUS I stored
some books on bookshelves at my stepdad’s house.
One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:
The Giver by Lois Lowry — definitely the
book I re-read the most ever. I don’t reread often but when I do it’s
been just one re-read. The Giver I just kept re-reading over and over
again as a kid.
Preferred Place To Read:
In the tub. It really is my favorite place to relax and read. Also, in bed!
Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:
“Or maybe it’s not a miracle. Maybe this
is just life. When you open yourself up to it. When you put yourself in
the path of it. When you say yes.” — Just One Day by Gayle Forman. That book actually kind of changed my life and made me say YES to things I had been thinking about.
Reading Regret:
I regret not having read Harry Potter when it came out. I WANT TO BE A PART OF THAT CLUB WHO GREW UP WITH IT! You did see my secret project, yes? I was going to list a book I regretted reading but NOT reading this was a bigger regret.
Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):
I have many but I’d say Jessica Darling series.
SHOCKING I haven’t finished it considering how much I love it, huh?
I’ve read the first three books but just can’t bear to finish it!!
Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:
The Book Thief by Markus Zusack, Just One Day by Gayle Forman, Pride & Prejudice
Unapologetic Fangirl For:
Trish Doller. Her debut, Something Like Normal,
is pretty popular in the book blogosphere and one of my favorite
contemporaries but Trish deserves so much more praise and I will shout
it to everyone who will listen!!
Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:
Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins. PLEASE GET IN MY HANDS, book!
Worst Bookish Habit:
Tricky! What I deem as my worst bookish habit or what you all would? haha. I already laid out my book crimes and you guys cringed so I’ll just go with what I deem it to be…overdue library books! ALWAYS. I can never get it there on time!

Your latest book purchase:
Crown of Embers by Rae Carson. I loved The Girl of Fire of Thorns and got book three for review and then I saw this one was on sale!
ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):
The Program by Suzanne Young. I was going to put it down before bed but was like “what’s one more chapter?” and then uh oh…it’s 3am.
